Liarsville Gold Rush Stampede including Klondike Summit Experience with Campfire Feast
Catch gold fever, live entertainment, and a campfire meal cooked to order!

Enjoy a narrated transfer to Liarsville, where your prospector guide will lead you to the exclusive Stampede Trail. Stake your claim, and mine for that precious metal that drove men and women wild with gold fever during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 1890s!

It's an exhilarating 30-minute gold rush, where you will join other eager prospectors in a race for all the gold you can find using placer gold mining techniques. With some good luck and a little work, you might catch gold fever too!

The Liarsville Outdoor Outfitters Tent, at the base of the trailhead, is where you will pack all the gear you'll need for this adventure. Along the trail, a Liarsville prospector will dictate the rules and regulations of mining, and will perform a demonstration of assembling and operating the Liarsville Rocker Box. You'll be turned loose to stake your claim and find as much gold as you can. After the 30-minute Rush is over, you'll head on over to the Liarsville Assayer's station with all your newfound wealth, and have it weighed. Some beginner panner's have found hundreds of dollars in gold and some have left empty handed. You'll receive a certificate with the current value of your gold before heading up the trail to watch your camp chef create a freshly prepared "breakfast" meal, on an open campfire in the great Alaskan outdoors. This feast of steak and eggs with sourdough, blueberry pancakes, orange juice and coffee is hearty enough to satisfy you at any time of day. Costumed performers will entertain you with live folk style music and Robert Service poetry while you enjoy your campfire meal service.

After your meal, browse the many authentic exhibits of this gold rush trail camp and the artifacts left behind from the Klondike gold rush or trade your gold for a memento of your Liarsville experience at the Fancy Goods Gift Shop before heading up the trail of 1898 where your prospector guide will entertain you with the lore of the gold rush era. You will see breathtaking views as you reach the summit of 3,290 feet above sea level. Along the route you'll have many photo opportunities with stops at Brackett Wagon Road, Pitch Fork Falls, Moore Creek Bridge, Dead Horse Gulch and Tormented Valley. The story of Skagway's most notorious outlaw Soapy Smith will entertain you on your way back where you will have the option to end your tour in the historic town of Skagway or back to the pier.

INCLUDES: Transfer to and from Liarsville historic exhibits and trail, steak and eggs breakfast, gold panning, guaranteed gold, scenic Klondike summit tour including photo stops along the way.
